Banana Leaf Tea, Loose-leaf
Dried blue java (ice-cream) banana leaf tea is delicious. Banana leaves are widely believed to have anti-bacterial properties and are often used to serve traditional meals in southern India, where they are considered healthy and auspicious. Banana leaves are purported to enhance endurance, heart-health, the immune system, and help induce sleep. According to the Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Biomedicine, bananda leaves also possess anti-radical and anti-oxidant properties.
